DANIEL JOHN O'NEAL
Daniel John O'Neal (b. 1956, Madison, WI) is known for his meticulously rendered realist oil paintings. While employing glazing and rendering techniques akin to the Old Masters, O'Neal's paintings describe settings and individuals of this era. This anachronistic mingling lends his exquisitely crafted paintings,
a dream-like aura of intrigue and timeless tension.
O'Neal received a BFA from Western Illinois University in 1978, and an MFA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1983. He has exhibited across
